First let me say welcome, and thank you for checking out the site. Recently we’ve been getting a lot more traffic than we are used to here at Gaming Death. While this influx of traffic is exciting and wonderful many of you may be wondering who we are and what we do. So I thought this post was necessary to fill you guys in on exactly what we do here at Gaming Death
While many other websites out there will provide all the latest news happening in the gaming world, by rewording press releases, you usually won’t find that on Gaming Death. Instead we focus on discussing the things happening in the gaming world by having a coherent, intelligent, and civil conversation about topics that affect gamers at a grass root level. For example many sites will pick up the Titanfall bundle news and just regurgitate that press release for the readers, we will go deeper to explore what that means for the average Joe gamer. We encourage our readers to be part of the conversation in the comment section of each article and no comment is overlooked or ignored.
Reviews we do are always the opinion of our writers. We don’t grade on a number scale due to the fact that it’s really hard to differentiate between a 9.1 and a 9.2. Instead we use grade school lettering system, with A+ being our highest score given, and F the lowest. While this system works for our purposes, we understand that every gamers taste is different, and something we hated about a game you may love. Due to this fact we try to give as much detail in each review to help you make a better purchasing decision.
We are a team of 3 writers, one video guy, and female co-founder. We all live in different parts of the world, and have normal 9-5 jobs. Gaming Death is something we all do for the love of writing and video games. While the site may not have as many articles per day as some of the bigger news sites, we are committed to at least 2 new articles each week. We try and make each article as unique and thought provoking as possible. Look for more articles to come later in this week.
Thank you again for checking out our site, and we hope to see you in the comments soon. If you would like to know a little more about the site please see our about us page.
