We have a bunch of rumors that are lurking around the internet and are bringing you them all in once place.

Next-Gen Xbox kits at Epic Games?

Mark Rein, VP and Co-Founder of Epic Games, let it slip recently in an interview with GamesIndustry.biz that their in development title Samaritan is running on target hardware for the next generation. The system currently being developed on is running the latest NVIDIA Kepler architecture. Sources close to Epic has further confirmed that they are working on the next-gen target hardware and may be in possession of a development kit from Microsoft made to simulate the next-gen system. How close are we to seeing the next-gen Xbox in action, or at least an announcement to what we all know, that its in the works.

Prey 2 Cancelled?

Next big piece of news is the cancellation of Prey 2, and its rumored announcement next week. A translated article states it has been in the making since this recent GDC where Zenimax forced Brian Karis, Lead Graphics Programmer on Prey 2, to cancel his planned talk. Two other planned talks by Human Head Studios staff involving Prey 2 were also given the axe.

Cancelled talks do not make for cancelled titles however. Both Bethesda and Zenimax are currently not commenting on the rumors, a pretty dreadful sign. How many publishers / developers would want rumors of their titles being cancelled out there? Especially if they weren’t.
